The Gowanda Pine Hill Cemetery Association incorporated as a non-profit community cemetery in 1867. This beautifully developed Victorian Cemetery sits on 24 acres of land donated by Joseph Plumb overlooks the village of Gowanda.
The Cemetery, which has a peaceful, park-like atmosphere, contains many unique, artistic markers. It is also home to a variety of specimen trees, several of which are marked as Gowanda Heritage Trees. The Pine Hill Board of Trustees maintains an Endowment Fund that provides an annual income to assist in the maintenance, upkeep, and improvements of the Gowanda Pine Hill Cemetery. All families are invited to make charitable, tax-deductible contributions to the fund. |
